Biography
I have lived in the metro Detroit area for the past 20 years, having immigrated here from Iraq. Graduated with distinction from the University of Michigan-Dearborn with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. I attended Wayne State University School of Medicine in hopes of following my father’s example, who was a practicing psychiatrist. I acquired a passion for psychiatry due to his positive influence and wish to continue my training in the field with some areas of interest, which includes C/L psychiatry, emergency psychiatry, and outpatient psychiatry. In my free time I enjoy being with family & friends, going to the movies, and exercising.
