Multimodal Investigation of Excitatory/Inhibitory Imbalances and Network Dysfunction Related to Motor Control in OCD Youth: 1H fMRS and MRI Applications

Help us understand OCD symptoms in teenagers and improve treatment methods

Participants must be:

  • 12-19 years of age
  • No neurological abnormalities
  • No metal in the body (such as orthodontic braces)

Rates and perception of risk of cannabis and cannabidiol (CBD) use during pregnancy

Survey for pregnant people living in the Detroit area about their perceptions and use of cannabidiol (CBD) and other substances during pregnancy. REQUIREMENTS:
Be at least 18 years of age, pregnant, English-speaking, and living within 50 miles of Wayne State University (WSU)

Warrior CARE Natural Observation Study

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of cannabis, also called marijuana, on the health of veterans who have been diagnosed with PTSD or are experiencing PTSD-like symptoms.

US Veterans aged 19-69 experiencing PTSD symptoms, willing to complete screening process (clinical interviews, blood draws, and saliva samples)

The Stress and Emotion Regulation through Endocannabinoids in Teen Youth (SERENITY)

The Stress and Emotion Regulation through Endocannabinoids in Teen Youth (SERENITY) study will help researchers understand how teens ages 14-17 years handle stress and emotions.  
Effects of THC on Retention of Memory for Fear Extinction Learning in PTSD: R33 Study This clinical trial will examine how a type of drug called cannabinoids (e.g., marijuana, THC) effects symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) during and after prolonged exposure (PE) therapy.  

Community & Mental Health Study

An online survey research study about the community in which you live and your mental health. Individuals eligible to participate must be between 18-25 years old and currently reside in Detroit.  

SPARK taVNS: Stimulating post traumatic adaptive responses through non-invasive vagus nerve enhancement

Express Interest in This Study

We are looking for volunteers to participate in our research study on how non-invasive brain stimulation delievered through the ear affects trauma-related problems.

Participants must be:

  • 18-70 years old
  • Generally healthy
  • Have at least one past traumatic event
  • Be able to commit seven hours of time to the study
  • Be able to wear sensors on your hands and arms, and sit quietly at a computer
  • Not on prohibited medications
  • No implanted devices above the chest
  • Not pregnant
  • Meet other study criteria
