Biography
Dr. Getzen completed residency in General Psychiatry at Wayne State University School of Medicine/Detroit Medical Center and fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at the University of Michigan. She is the Psychiatry Clerkship Director for third-year medical students, co-director of the Human Disease Foundations III course for second-year medical students, and the Psychiatry Specialty Director for the Transition to Residency course for fourth-year medical students.
Dr. Getzen works clinically as a forensic psychiatrist at the Center for Forensic Psychiatry. She is a member of the Association of Directors of Medical Student Education in Psychiatry and the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law.
