Biography

 I was born and raised in Farmington Hills, Michigan and then went on to attend MSU for both my undergrad and medical degrees and have been living in Detroit for a little over four years now! I’ve always dreamt of being a Psychiatrist, and it’s so exciting to have my middle school dream come true! I love Psychiatry because of the unique relationships we have with our patients, the ability to work with an often-stigmatized patient population, the constantly stimulating nature of the day-to-day, and the artful process of developing an assessment and plan without utilizing algorithms very often. My professional interests include Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, first-break psychosis, and psychotherapy, amongst many others. In my free time, I love binging either psychological thrillers/horror OR reality TV, hanging out with my wonderful co-residents, exploring new restaurants, and traveling!
