Biography
I’m originally from Canada and came to the United States to attend Wayne State University for medical school in Detroit Michigan. My academic background includes a major in microbiology and immunology, with a minor in classical studies. Before starting medical school, I taught English for a year in Nagasaki, Japan, which developed my interest in cultural exchange and global perspectives. During my fourth year of medical school, I participated in a mission trip to Ecuador, further deepening my commitment to global health. My psychiatric interests include child and adolescent psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, and pain management. I’m passionate about teaching medicine and raising awareness of mental health issues on an international scale.
