Biography

I was born in Indiana, but moved all over the country. I spent the most time growing up in Southern California and near Denver, Colorado. Prior to medical school I worked in biotechnology, manufacturing biologic medications in San Diego. Although I enjoy many aspects of psychiatry, I ultimately hope to work with children and adolescents, with a focus on providing mental health services to those with neurodevelopmental disorders, including making the difficult transition to adult care. Outside of work, I enjoy gaming, reading, woodworking, baking, finding amazing foodie spots, and spending time with my partner and cats.
