Biography
I was born in Vietnam but grew up in Milwaukee. I majored in neurobiology at UW-Madison and spent two gap years exploring various jobs, including board game store, freelance art, and dermatology clinic before deciding to pursue medicine. I returned to Madison to earn my MD at the University of Wisconsin. My interest in psychiatry stemmed from many formative and cultural experiences throughout both homes, including personal immigrant experiences and structural-social mental health challenges in urban communities. Outside of work, I enjoy gaming (PC and tabletop), sketching/crafting/photography, noodling on instruments, and anime!
