Biography

I was born in Wisconsin, and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I worked as an EMT before receiving my B.S. in molecular biology from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. I attended medical school at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. As an EMT, I worked with individuals experiencing mental health crises, which inspired me to pursue a career in psychiatry to better help patients understand and manage both acute and chronic mental illnesses. In my free time I love visiting art museums, hiking, biking, and enjoying live music.
