The DPBN invites all residents of Detroit and the surrounding Metro to participate in paid clinical research studies. 

Why Participate in Research?

Volunteers may suffer from a mental disorder or they may also be healthy individuals. Health status aside, however, volunteers include people of all ages and genders who:

• Want to better treatments and treatment methods for people  mental disorders, and breaking the stigma around mental health
• Curious about the neuroscientific side of mental health
• Suspect that themselves or a loved one may be suffering from a mental disorder
• Are intrigued by the idea of receiving a picture of their brain 
• Desire opportunities for compensation in exchange for their time and work
